Linda built her career from humble beginnings to become one of Britain’s most recognisable business leaders and is now empowering others to successfully start and run their own companies with her Linda Plant Business Academy. As a pioneering female business leader, Linda has worked in a series of challenging executive roles, building, and running successful companies. You might also know Linda as one of the interviewers on BBC 1’s ‘The Apprentice’, providing advice to Lord Sugar for over six series.

SARAH PITTENDRIGH

Award-winning businesswoman Sarah Pittendrigh knows first-hand what it takes to become a highly successful entrepreneur. From a struggling bankrupt single mum to a thriving award-winning serial business owner, Sarah has strived through challenges and come out stronger on the other side. A down-to-earth, engaging speaker, Sarah captivates the audience and guides them to overcome their own self-limiting beliefs.

Founder and CEO of Rebel Lion Advertising, Matt is spearheading an ambitious acquisition journey to become the largest independent agency group in the UK.

A multi-award-winning entrepreneur, Matt has won several national awards for both himself and his businesses. These include the prestigious Great British Entrepreneur of the Year Award for the Creative industry in 2016, 2017 and 2018 plus industry awards issued by The Drum and the RAR Digital Awards.  

Simone Roche MBE is founder of Northern Power Women, the PoWEr Up Collective CIC and the PoWEr Platform. Simone was awarded an MBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours in 2018 for services to gender equality. She was appointed Lieutenant Commander in the Royal Navy in June 2020 and recently promoted to Captain in July 2021.

Highly engaging, enterprising, and dynamic, Tonia has been on the corporate and educational circuit for over 10 years, covering wide-ranging and often highly emotive subjects, such as mental health, women in business, and entrepreneurship. 

A confident presenter and relationship-builder, published author, and consummate professional, Tonia has spoken for audiences of senior academics, career professionals, students, and employers, and for brands such as Legal & General and Enterprise. 

REBECCA HARTLEY

Rebecca Hartley is an accomplished entrepreneur, single parent and businesswoman who shares her personal and professional journey as an inspirational speaker. As the founder and director of Saving Grace Events and co-director of The Barlaston Estate, Rebecca's entrepreneurial spirit led to her being shortlisted for the Northern Gamechangers award in 2022 and Outstanding Entrepreneur Award at the Northern Power Women Awards in 2023.

As an advocate for breast cancer awareness and prevention, Rebecca is passionate about raising breast cancer awareness, having overcome the disease herself in 2016. She has committed both her personal time and organised fundraisers through Saving Grace Events to raise valuable funds for the cause. 

Sophie Milliken is the founder of Moja Group Limited. Sophie has been a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development since 2013 and was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal Society of Arts in 2019. She is Chair of Smart Works Newcastle, supporting unemployed women with interview clothing and coaching across the North East. A multi-award winning entrepreneur and bestselling author, Sophie is available to speak on a variety of themes including entrepreneurship, leadership, resilience, career development, and wellbeing.

LISA EATON

Lisa Eaton is a marketing expert, strategy consultant and Founder of Fabric Academy, an online training provider that empowers ambitious marketers to excel worldwide.

With more than two decades of experience in creating and executing marketing and communication strategies for global brands, including P&G, Visit England, Dulux and NHS Lisa has a deep understanding of what it takes to develop a high-level marketing strategy that makes an impact while delivering tangible business results.  

She is a strong advocate for women in business and is committed to supporting them in achieving their full potential through mentoring and sharing her experiences.

STEVE RAWLINGSON

Steve founded Samuel Knight international, a specialist renewable energy and sustainable transportation recruitment business, in 2014 from a single-person office in Newcastle. Fast forward to 2023, and Samuel Knight employs over 100 consultants with offices throughout the UK, USA and the Middle East. They generate $35million+ annually and offer recruitment project solutions across 48 countries.

EMMA CHANDLER

Emma Chandler is an award-winning leadership coach, inspirational speaker, and author. She is passionate about developing people, changing the face of leadership, and creating inclusive working communities, with a goal of improving wellness, wisdom and winning at work. Emma holds a CIPD accreditation in learning and development and is an accredited resilience coach.

STEPH EDUSEI

Steph Edusei is the Chief Executive of St. Oswald’s Hospice, a large children and adult’s hospice based in Newcastle Upon Tyne. She is also a Non-Executive Director of The Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and is a Director of the North East England Chamber of Commerce. 

 Steph has been an integral part of her local community. She has been a leader with Girlguiding UK for over 30 years and holds the position of Chair at Eliot Smith Dance Company.

 Steph uses her platform to amplify black voices. She highlights the challenges faced by Black people, as well as celebrate their successes and achievements.
